Puerto Princesa Circuit 1
Experience the extraordinarily amazing wonders and unique features of Hundred Caves, the treasures that Mother Nature has showered on this part of the earth. A hundred Caves is one of the Community-based Sustainable Tourism sites offered as an adventurous day tour package. Your patronage will go a long way in helping the local community, comprising volunteers who desire to preserve and protect the environment. Such aspiration is an enabling force that propels them to achieve sustainable development.
The Hundred Cave entrance has an elevation of 80 meters above sea level. The cave system is multi-storied and consists of winding interconnected passages and vertical passages. A few meters away from the cave’s mouth, Mother Nature will introduce to you some of the most magnificent rock formations, such as stalactite, stalagmites, columns, draperies, chandeliers, flowstones, helictites, straw coralloid, rimstone dam, cave pearls, glittering speleothems, and amazing calcite crystal, among others.
The Tagabinet Neighborhood Tourism Association was awarded by the Barangay Council of Tagabinet as the legitimate permittee to manage and protect the Hundred Caves. As one of the recently developed Community-based Tourism Sustainable Tourism Sites, it offers cave exploration that opens an avenue for learning about a rich and delicate ecosystem that rivals the underwater world in terms of mystery. Inside this cave are rock formations of exquisite yet peculiar beauty that challenges logic and stirs the imagination. In this strange, dark, and mystic realm are snaking passages, extensive cathedrals, mysterious crevices, endless abysses, and other natural marvels that only the lucky few have seen.
